I know it's a really old version but it's so hacked about that I can't upgrade it, it's barely PHPnuke anymore
Half of our editors are using Firefox or Safari and the Spaw we have won't do those... Is there any solution you can suggest?

Spaw with PHP Nuke 7.9???

hmmm... I know that spaw will work with php version 5.0, but I haven't tested it with newer versions or MySQL. However, I wouldn't think that would make a difference. It seems to me that I did have problems with the server setup I was using on my home system for testing was giving me problems. I know that the package that comes with the windows server didn't work and I ended up downloading a setup from "Reactor" that works very well for me. What I like about it is that it works all within it's own folder and does not make any changes to your registries on your computer.

Another thing to remember. When you are inserting the spaw editor into your code the spaw editor must be inserted within 'form' tags to work properly and you must have a line somewhere in the begining of the file that has the statement "include ('includes/edit-wysiwyg.php');" and to turn off the TinyMCE editor insert on the same page after the include this line "define('NO_EDITOR', 1);".

I don't know where you got your copy of phpnuke but I do have two nuke7.9's with the spaw editor installed that you may want to download and look at. One is just the phpnuke with the security patches installed..( I believed so..it's been so long now..ha ) and the other is a phpnuke enhanced that I was doing for the phpnuke Max group. (that was a pain to do). Download one or both and see if they work for you. Then we can go from there. Anyway here are the links:
If you should download the Reactor server and after you install it let me know and I'll explain how to set it up for multiple projects.

Where is the remote forum that you are trying to display the latest topics from?

Is it on the same server your phpnuke is on or a different server?
